Team Manager, Drugs-Biologicals

We are in search of a Team Manager, Drugs-Biologicals to join our team in Barcelona.
The team handles curating information of biologic bioactive compounds, including mechanism of action details, product categories, and manufacturing information sourced from various outlets such as scientific publications, congress abstracts, clinical trials, patents, and FDA documents, all delivered to Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence.
About You - experience, education, skills, and achievements:
- PhD in Life Sciences (preferably in Biology or Biomedical Sciences) with experience in biological drug discovery and/or clinical procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a global corporation with strong knowledge in LS&H content.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a complex organizational structure.
- Strong decision-making skills and priority setting.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
Additional assets:
- Prior experience in people and process management.
- Capability to analyze processes, detect issues, and devise solutions.
- Skilled in remote collaboration within an international setting.
- Aptitude to deeply explore content and outcomes.

- Lead a global team situated in Spain and India.
- Cultivate a success-driven culture, inspiring and empowering colleagues to reach their maximum potential.
- Ensure execution and performance, meeting quality, timeliness, and completeness key performance indicators and striving for ongoing enhancement.
- Establish a customer-centric team, fostering innovation.
- Participate in crucial decisions and initiatives to facilitate long-term goals achievement.
- Communicate initiatives to senior management, establish timelines, and manage expectations regarding deliverables and releases.
- Collaborate with Product Operations and Technology in the product development process.
- Spot opportunities for process simplification and synergies.
About the Team:
- Reporting to the Manager, Content Editing, Drugs and Digital Devices based in India.
- Lead a team of approximately 10 members situated in Spain and India.
- The team embodies a dynamic, creative, and supportive culture, with excellence, integrity, and care as core values.
- Entitlement to 40 annual paid hours for volunteering, contributing to a diverse and inclusive volunteering community.
Work Hours:
This role is a full-time position for 40 hours per week (35 hours during July and August), with a hybrid work model, requiring 2-3 office days in Barcelona (near Sagrada Familia) weekly.
