Job Description:

AECOM Buildings + Places is actively seeking a Junior Architect for immediate employment in our Madrid office.

  • Assist with creating and developing designs, functional layouts, diagrams, and presentation materials based on complex programming requirements.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (engineering, urban design, and others) to support the design and construction of a variety of international and national projects.
  • Developing from concept design to construction documents.
  • Assist the Senior team members with other tasks including updating logs and checklists.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Architectural Master's Degree
  • 12 years of experience
  • Proficiency in BIM environment and Autodesk Revit
  • Proven experience with other design software (Autocad, Photoshop, Rhinoceros)
  • Well organized with the ability to manage time and deadlines in a fastpaced work environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.
  • Proactive and detail oriented
  • Creative and collaborative with a passion for designing and detailing

Languages

  • Business English skills: proficiency
  • Other language proficiency is desirable
