We are seeking a highly skilled AI software architect with a background in different AI software flows, frameworks and compilers to drive our work around optimal inference

As a Software Architect specializing, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing high-performance machine learning algorithms and models.

closely with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize software solutions that leverage the power of DirectML for accelerated AI computations.

This role offers the opportunity to work on leading-edge projects, influence technical decisions, and mentor junior engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of machine learning algorithms and models using DirectML and other frameworks.
  • Architect and implement high-performance software solutions for AI applications, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and engineers to integrate features into our products and platforms.
  • Capture and influence the hardware architecture with concrete data and feedback from the compilation challenges and directions of advanced AI models and frameworks.
  • Drive innovation by staying current with the latest advancements in AI frameworks, flows and compilation techniques. Actively contribute to the development of best practices in the space.
  • Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality software deliverables

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on machine learning, AI, or computer vision.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with performance optimization techniques for high-throughput computing.
  • In-depth knowledge of DirectML, including its architecture, APIs, and optimization techniques for GPU acceleration.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX, and integrating them with DirectML.
  • Solid understanding of computer vision algorithms, neural network architectures, and model optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in parallel computing concepts and GPU programming using CUDA or OpenCL is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's or Ph.
D.) is preferred but not required.
