About this opportunity:


Responsible to drive the ML /AI and future rApp solution architecture development towards MELA customers units, in tight-knit collaboration with the service areas from each domain.

Location of the position is available within MELA territory

What you will do:

Automation, ML/ AI technical senior expert/solution architect

Drive ML /AI technical discussions with MELA Customers. Engaging with customers to define the best suitable automation, ML /AI strategy

Jointly with the presales portfolio responsible for CS, NMS and NDO, drives ML/AI portfolio roadmap requests and feedback loop towards business areas BCSS and BNEW


Mobilizing cross-function teams within BNEW, BCSS, MELA NMSD and MELA Customer Units to define target architectures to address customer needs.

Focused on ML/AI Cloud based solutions and their evolution towards rApps

Develop AI/ML techno-commercial value proposition and proof points

Championing the ML/AI proposition for MELA customers. Driving cross-Solution Area alignment and communications for machine learning, automation, and AI.

Program manager for ML /AI technical competence uplift within MELA Presales organization.

You will bring:

  • Excellent leadership skills. An inclusive leadership style with experience of matrix leadership
  • Strong experience on ML /AI engagements with customers.
  • Established network within the corresponding Solution Areas
  • Should have the ability to engage with customers, influence their ML/ AI strategy, collect their requests and align with the Solution Areas to develop the best Automation and ML/AI solution.
  • Ability and experience to engage virtual teams within a large geography with diverse cultures.
  • Excellent orchestration, collaboration and facilitation skills, with an ability to include all voices, and drive ML/AI strategy formulation and execution.
  • Knowledge of Ericsson ML/AI stateoftheart in BNEW Customer Support and BCSS CNS/ MS.
  • Automation, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence knowhow
  • Validated experience in sales or presales.
  • Manage key stakeholders externally (Customers) and internally (BA & CU Heads)
  • Master of Business Administration, Bachelors or Master' degree in Engineering or science or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate the value of ML/AI for MELA Customers.
  • Financial, business, commercial competence
  • Extensive experience of Ericsson's Networks, MS and NDO AI/ML capabilities.
  • Availability to travel across MA
