Job Description
| Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U.This is a great opportunity to be part of the Amazon Shipping business in an exciting new team. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join the Business Development team in Spain. Your role will involve selling Amazon Shipping services, building relationships with key companies in Spain, identifying opportunities, negotiating deals, and enhancing the product to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications:

  • You enjoy contributing to a new business venture
  • You thrive on collaborating with various teams such as Marketing, Customer Programs, Operations, Legal, etc.
  • Strong sales background with a history of meeting or surpassing targets
  • Skilled at establishing relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions
  • Self-motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in building trustworthy relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to switch between strategic planning and hands-on execution

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Contribute to the organizational strategy and direction
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with potential strategic customers
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across departments to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Dive Deep: Analyze performance, identify opportunities, and drive improvements
  • Business Development: Acquire new customers, increase shipping volumes, and uphold profitability

Location: Madrid, Spain (4 Towers district, not Getafe) with some travel within Spain (up to 15-20%)

Basic Qualifications:
  • Business development, sales, and account management experience
  • Ability to work strategically and tactically in a dynamic environment
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on results
  • Strong communication skills and advising capabilities
  • Prioritization skills with a commitment to goal achievement
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • Experience in B2C logistics
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM, and sales tools
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL, Amazon Redshift)
