What You'll Do

Candidates should demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and proven experience in client service and engagement in company transformation projects.

As an Analyst, you will operate within a growing global team, offering industry and topic expertise and insights while collaborating with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, methodologies, software solutions, analysis, and expert guidance.

You will act as a strategic partner and content expert for case teams and sector leaders, aiding in structuring and resolving complex issues. Furthermore, you will assist your sector in enhancing existing and creating new intellectual property and knowledge/software assets.

You will contribute to commercialization endeavors for the sector, in coordination with business leaders, supporting marketing campaigns, conferences, and publications.

As an Analyst, you will support in onboarding, training, and mentoring junior colleagues, as well as sharing best practices within the team.

Primary Responsibilities Include (and not limited to):

  • Collaborate with BCG case teams, clients, and experts to comprehend business problems and propose suitable methodology/software solutions based on the client's business requirements and program specifics.
  • Demonstrate comprehension of the client's overall problem and formulate frameworks or solutions for the team promptly.
  • Develop a deep understanding of BCG Transform & Post-Merger-Integration (PMI) methodologies, proactively applying them to client cases through pertinent knowledge assets or software solutions.
  • Act as a strategic partner, offering problem-solving insights and sector expertise while establishing credibility with case teams and clients.
  • Oversee implementation project plans with clients, setting practical expectations based on current methodology, product, and service offerings.
  • Adopt a solution-oriented approach, addressing client inquiries and issues promptly, while continuously seeking opportunities for service enhancement.
  • Aggregate, synthesize, and analyze case team insights and outputs to develop new proprietary assets.
  • Translate methodology into applicable software product(s) where necessary; configure solutions to customize them to the client's context to generate insightful solutions (no technical/coding knowledge required).
  • Collaborate with Client, Engineering, and relevant Support teams to aid in diagnosing and resolving software-related technical and/or non-technical issues, bugs, performance, and other challenges.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

Skills

  • Operating independently or virtually, as well as in a team environment.
  • Communication Skills with exceptional written and oral abilities; capable of adjusting communication style to various stakeholders and cultures.
  • MVP (minimum viable product) based solutioning, client support, and ensuring customer success.
  • Enthusiasm for, and adeptness in rapidly developing skills in transformation-related fields such as Transformation, restructuring, change management, and post-merger integration.
  • Solid grasp of financial KPIs from P&L and Balance Sheets, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Tableau or Alteryx is advantageous, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international team environment.
  • Readiness to acquire new tools and methodologies as they become relevant for the team.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing skills, and adaptability in communication across diverse stakeholders, with a proactive approach in decision-making and issue escalation.

Education & Work Experience

  • 2-3+ years of consulting experience in Transformation topic required; candidates with consulting experience preferred.
  • In the absence of consulting experience, a minimum of 2+ years of industry experience is necessary; 3-4+ years of industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management/administration, Finance, or related fields (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English. Additional language skills are advantageous.
