As an Accounting Officer, you'll be the wizard behind the numbers, orchestrating financial harmony throughout our operations in Spain. Your role dances between meticulous oversight of financial transactions, sprinkling regulatory compliance magic, and conjuring strategic financial insights.

You are a proactive, detail-obsessed professional with a knack for transforming spreadsheets into symphonies and turning balance sheets into ballads.

But you're also a versatile team player who is capable of making your colleagues LOL.

What you'll be doing

  • Actively manage Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks on SAGE100.
  • Conduct analytical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Review and adhere to
    egg's established processes and protocols to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • Execute bank reconciliations meticulously to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist the team in navigating VAT regulations, determining the correct tax regime, and verifying the possibility of VAT recovery.
  • Manage employee expenses efficiently, from verification to approval
  • Provide support to the production team on any financerelated inquiries, offering clarity and guidance as needed.

Must haves

  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish (No scrambled oeufs at
    egg, svp.)
  • Basic knowledge of the Spanish Chart of Account
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to details and proactive attitude
  • A valid work permit to work in Spain

Nice to haves

  • Proficiency in French
  • Experience with SAGE
  • Experience in the event industry
