Stays that bring our guests closer to the local culture and their stories. Opening in Paris and Barcelona in Summer 2024, plus London and two properties in Vienna in 2025.

About The Miiro Borneta Hotel Launching August 2024, the Miiro Borneta boasts 92 rooms, an atmospheric restaurant with open-plan kitchen, and a cocktail bar.

Its rooftop terrace offers the perfect vantage point for soaking up the sights of downtown Barcelona.

Positioned in the charismatic old artisan quarter of El Born, the Miiro Borneta Hotel invites you to discover the charms of the Ciutat Vella.

  • What we want you to do Guest experience Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival ad make time to interact effectively with guests Assist Guests during check-in and check-out, including phone interaction and face-to-face interaction Assist Guests with questions, directions, event schedules, and other information regarding their stay Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback, and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction Responsible Business To have a full understanding of all systems and programmes Being pro-active in getting things done and exceeding expectations of both guests and colleagues where possible Set up accurate accounts for each guest checking in according to their preferences (room type, payment, etc.)
Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information Employ attention to detail to ensure the security of guest room access Carry out the minimum of 2 security checks at regular intervals with special emphasis on security, fire, and safety To ensure the total cash takings balance with the PMS settlements report and the receipt sheet and to complete the banking according to the correct procedure Key Skills and Competencies Self-management Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the Miiro Employee Handbook Comply with company grooming and uniform standards Comply with timekeeping and attendance policies Actively participate in training and development programmes and maximise opportunities for self-development Customer service Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards to include:
Being attentive to guests Accurately and promptly fulfilling guest requests understand and anticipate guest needs Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers Be able to promote the hotel products and services Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about all Miiro Hospitality hotels Health Safety & Security Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety Familiarise yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of your line manager The above is designed to help you in the understanding of your role and is not intended to be a definitive list of your duties, as flexibility in meeting company and guest's needs is required by all Miiro Hosts
