Reporting to the VP of Customer Insights, you will focus on Consumer and B2B units, including The Wall Street Journal, Factiva, MarketWatch, and Risk & Compliance.
As a Quantitative UX Researcher, you'll play a key role in improving digital experiences, leveraging data & insights to guide decisions and ensure ongoing enhancements.
You Will:
- Lead in helping UX and Product partners grasp user needs and behaviors.
- Generate insights to inspire brainstorming sessions and assess designs.
- Explore user behavior through empirical research methods like logs analysis, survey research, and regression analysis.
- Define and assess quantitative UX topics, goals, and metrics collaboratively.
- Independently develop, execute, and analyze quantitative research studies.
- Conduct surveys, craft experimental tests, and perform statistical analyses.
- Review data and product designs, forming hypotheses for impactful research.
- Collaborate with data teams to synthesize insights supporting hypotheses of designers or product managers.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
- At least 3 years of applied product research experience, strong in statistics and experimental design.
- Expertise in analyzing and presenting behavioral data from Adobe Analytics, UserZoom, and Optimal Workshop, along with survey design skills.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Qualtrics), data visualization tools (Tableau, BigQuery), and digital product design tools (Figma, Adobe CC, Miro).
- Collaboration skills, familiarity with professional collaboration tools (Jira, Miro, Confluence, Airtable), and grasp of user-centered design principles.
