As a Cloud DWH Lead your goal will be to form a deep and broad relationship with Snowflake that will allow you to lead the technology practice in the company and its ongoing growth and success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the contact point for the relationship with Snowflake channel manager as well as possible head of sales and the head of Professional Services.
- Be constantly up to date with the Snowflake events & webinars & press articles & newsletters & publications & updates & new releases.
- Propose, coordinate and lead all internal activities related to Snowflake with active participation when needed.
- Create, maintain, and promote internal and external discussion related to Snowflake.
- Main contact point for presales support when related to Snowflake.
- Act as guru & reference within ClearPeaks for Snowflake and help peers when needed.
- Define the technical certifications and accreditations needed to achieve the targeted partner level, and drive needed activities to ensure it completion.
- Be aware of all customer projects related to Snowflake being executed in ClearPeaks and help in marketizing their outcome, generating marketing and sales materials when required
- Be familiar and up to date with alternatives to tech
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ideally Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering, Informatics, Statistics or other degree with interest in the Business Intelligence and Big Data field
- Expert on Snowflake desirably with advanced Snowflake certification
- Proven experience in migrating legacy systems to Snowflake (specially SAP, but also Oracle, Synapse, Redshift)
- Understanding of modern data platform paradigms: Data Lake house, Data mesh, Data fabric
- Experience in architecting and deploying enterprise cloud data platforms
- Proven experience in cloudbased data ingestion, data engineering, ETL and data mart creation
- Experience in analysis and business requirements gathering as well as presales and proposals generation
- Understanding of onprem cloud networking aspects
- Experience in delivering and managing end to end projects related to data platforms
- Understanding of how tech vendors work and their roles (sales, channel, etc.), experience in interaction with tech vendors
- Analytical, problem solving and creative.
- Customer oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English both written and spoken
- Proactive, team player, committed with constant willingness to improve.
