We are currently looking for a:
Head of Commercial Controlling

Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Financial responsible for the sales strategic plan, budget, reforecasts and UPA/UPM
  • Deviations analysis of the sales actuals vs strategic plan, budget / reforecasts / campaigns.
  • Support and challenge the commercial plans from a financial perspective.
  • Action plans definition to close the gap between actuals and plan.
  • Key financial initiatives monitoring and improvement opportunities identification.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Management or Economics.
  • MBA or similar postgraduate experience (nice to have).

Languages:

  • Spanish (mother tongue).
  • English at a proficiency level.

Managerial Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of complex issues, the ability to quickly absorb information, conceptual and creative problemsolving excellence.
  • Driven; enjoys a challenge, proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results, determination and optimism.
  • Leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results.
  • People development and team building skills.
  • Ability to drive change in complex organizations and work in a multicultural environment.
  • Desire to work in a transformation environment.
  • Program management and risk management skills.
  • Drive, ambition and initiative to help improving operational excellence in Parques Reunidos Finance area.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel modelling and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Technology savvy: Planning and Reporting systems (IBM TM1, Anaplan, Adaptive, SAP BPC, Hyperion ), ERP systems (Workday Finance, SAP ) and digital technologies (Cloud, Analytics,)

Experience:

  • 10+ years relevant experience in similar functions.
  • Experience in the industry (or retail or hospitality) is preferred.
  • Understanding of a commercial strategy, campaigns, action plans and commercial business cases.
  • Knowledge in accounting and understanding of the financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements).
  • Understanding of the key finance processes such as: ordertocash, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
