We are looking for a professional with great experience in Property and Casualty for an multinational insurance company working in a international enviroment.
Requisitos:
About the role:
- We're looking for a techforward underwriter to be the product advocate to develop and own a profitable book of commercial Middle Market Property and Casualty (P&C) business
This will include:
- Analysing and assessing new submissions to evaluate risk exposures and provide solutions
- Offering proposals and identifying opportunities to crosssell
- Managing a portfolio of risks
- Working directly with external contacts to generate and retain customers
- Participating in broker visits to build and maintain relationships
- Promoting their products and services and being the goto person for your partners
- Knowing competitors' strengths and weaknesses to drive wins.
- You must be able to evaluate success based on profitability, efficiency, and customer service metrics.
- Working with the Proposition Director to identify areas for the development and refinement of their products, services and strategies.
Requirements:
- Have 5+ years underwriting experience in the Mid-Market commercial P&C space as a primary insurer.
- Currently have multiline underwriting authority and desire to learn new industries and lines of business.
- Have strong analytical skills to assess exposures, coverages, terms and conditions to appropriately assign underwriting decision on risks.
- Have experience in producing a profitable portfolio of business within your underwriting authority.
- Are a great communicator that can build and maintain relationships internally and externally and are eager to deliver on client commitments.
- Are well connected with the mid market UK broker community can quickly establish new relationships
- Are a fast learner, selfdriven, willing and excited to get involved.
- Can follow the rules but not afraid to think outside of the box.
- Can handle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
- Motivated, independent but also a great teammate.
- Embrace the startup life and can envisage new ways of working to incubate and launch new products in an agile way.
- Take pride in the results of your work
