Network Deploy Technician, Infrastructure Delivery

We are hiring a Network Technician to join our Networking team.
As a Network Technician, your role will involve handling hardware delivery, configuration, and fiber connectivity for scaling projects across multiple data center locations. Collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to ensure project execution aligns with technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams for efficient deployment of designs and products.
- Manage work priorities using ticketing systems and workflows, resolving project obstacles with stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues, including network device configurations and cabling problems.
- Specify power and cooling needs, oversee hardware setup for new equipment.
- Fulfill customer requests through trouble ticketing systems and project management workflows.
- Assist in hardware migration, configuration, and implementation.
- Travel may be required, up to 20% outside the usual work area, potentially including international trips.
- Technical Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or relevant certifications (CCENT, Network+, CCNA)
- 2+ years of experience in data centers or critical environments
- 2+ years working with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, OTDR, etc.)
- Proficiency in English, at least at an advanced level
- Familiarity with network cabling best practices and methodologies
- Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, etc.)
- Experience with ethernet and IP networking
- Background in large-scale data center network implementations
- Exposure to enterprise networking environments
- Understanding of common networking terms and fabric-based network design
- Familiarity with enterprise-level infrastructure technologies (Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Firewalls, etc.)
