The Infrastructure Delivery team handles the scaling and physical deployment of new data center infrastructure. As an Installation Technician, your main responsibilities will include installing cabling and new racks in the data centers.
We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow. The role involves performing routine tasks and following standard processes. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow security and safety protocols in the data center.
- Install and test copper and Fiber Optic cabling.
- Assist in building and troubleshooting network devices.
- Labeling and attaching barcodes.
- Manage inventory of materials.
- Adhere to escalation processes and operating procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Lift heavy objects up to 15kg.
- Work at heights and from ladders.
- Tolerate noisy and varying temperature conditions.
- Travel within the geographical work area.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English.

Basic Qualifications:
- Familiarity with fiber optic and copper cabling standards.
- Basic knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of TCP/IP networks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
