Clarivate works with leading Life Science companies around the globe. They range from the largest medical device companies to top five pharma, to pre-commercial biotech's.

These companies have portfolios that include both small molecule and biologics, as well as Medical Devices, Invitro Diagnostics and Vaccines.

In this highly strategic role, you will support large global clients, providing regulatory intelligence support and helping them to meet ever changing regulations in various geographies.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Minimum of a master's degree in the life sciences. PhD in Regulatory Science preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience with regulatory intelligence, regulatory strategy and regulatory policy.
  • Deep knowledge of drug development, pipeline development, & regulatory approval processes.
  • Extensive experience in managing large, complex, global projects.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Relevant experience managing virtual global teams to successfully deliver projects.

It would be great if you also:

  • Have deep relationships with key players within the regulatory field of life science companies.
  • Growth oriented business development skill set
  • Strong problem management, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and understand internal systems and processes.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment.
  • Contribute significantly to the attainment of yearly revenue/profit targets as defined within KPIs for the Director, Global Leader of Regulatory Consulting role.
What will you be doing in this role?

The workload will be approximately:

  • Project delivery and project oversight (3040%)
  • Direct management of team %)
  • Project Management_
  • Responsibility for managing projects from concept through to completion. This could be between 1020 projects at any one time (dependent on project value and line managerial responsibilities) to produce an expected average revenue.
  • Strategic account direction and oversight including identifying new approaches and opportunities for efficiencies and synergies.
  • Ensuring quality assurance procedures have been followed and every project is delivered to the highest quality, on time and within budget.
  • Managing client relationships effectively, controlling scope and client expectations within projects and identifying opportunities for future projects.
  • Responsible for the financial and administrative management of projects
  • Business Development_
  • Interactions with the wider Clarivate team to offer end to end solutions for our clients.
  • Responsible for growth at existing and new clients
About the Team

  • You'll report to VP, Global Leader of Research & Development Consulting Practices, based in US
  • You'll lead a Global Regulatory Team of approximately 5 managers and 20 consultants.
  • The team culture is dynamic with focus on collaboration and mutual support.
Hours of Work

This is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August).

The working schedule is flexible, mostly centered on CET time zone with occasional need to accommodate late or early meetings with US or East Asia time zones.

The position is hybrid and will require that you be in the Barcelona office 2-3 times per week.
