Overview:

Morgan Advanced Materials specialise in innovating cutting-edge carbon, graphite, and carbide products that deliver outstanding performance. We are recruiting for a
Sales Engineer who will manage the sales of established business in the Spanish and French markets, for Industrial/core customers. This will include identifying potential new customers in Industrial markets, targeting end users, OEM's and Service companies in our growth markets - growing the sales of the region, year-on-year. You will take a proactive approach to sales, through visits and keeping in touch with End users and OEMs, in Spain & France.

Responsibilities:

What you will do:

  • Support and grow the sales for Industrial customers, in Spain and France, and identify opportunities with current business whilst seeking out new opportunities.
  • Research and understand the market and customer needs
  • Agree and review sales objectives and targets for oneself with the Sales Manager and the wider team
  • Quote prices, credit and contract terms, warranties and delivery dates to customers accurately
  • Process customer orders appropriately, achieving zero errors during entry to the system
  • Gather information on customer needs and target selling strategy accordingly
  • Contact current and potential customers to promote products and services based on an understanding of their needs
  • Consult with customers after sales or contract signings to answer questions and provide support

Qualifications:

What You'll Bring:

  • Knowledge of sales techniques: different ways of selling, sales models, account management approaches, account planning methods, pricing structures etc.
  • Both Spanish and French language skills essential, English would be beneficial.
  • Working with customers: discovering and understanding customer needs and developing customer relationships, evaluating and improving customer satisfaction
  • Client centric, with the ability to identify opportunities
