Job Description 20 petabytes of data across 30 data domainsacross the whole bio-pharma value chain waiting for you to unlock the next breakthrough in medicine.

This role drives the digital transformation of the Global Business Planning & Analysis (BPA)/ Digital Finance function of the Onco and Pharma Business Units into an ad-vanced analytics and value-creation powerhouse.

The Global Senior Manager Digital Finance (GSMDF) will shape our future finance/BPA organization and the way we sup-port our business using AI, ML & digital.

This includes project management, process and organizational design and identifying and managing interdependencies with other digital initiatives throughout the company (e.g. commercial functions, the corporate dig-ital office, finance in other Novartis units incl. NBS, NTO, etc.) The GSMDF takes an active part in orchestrating the development and implementation of AI/ML-powered components for financial forecasting and planning and owns the execution of assigned projects, including transformational activities, working independently and with exten-sive autonomy.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Co-develop vision and supports prioritization of new AI-/decision-making tools in close alignment with the BPA/Finance function of the Onco & Pharma business unitsOwn selected AI/ML products and heads their design, development and implementation by orchestrating the right resources across data science and visualization experts.

Ensures successful roll-out and adoption across IM.Connect newly designed solutions and processes with operational links and leverages her/his operations acumen to pragmatically implement in the NVS environmentIdentify areas of inefficiencies in the application of AI/ML/digital and implements improvements towards a highly efficient, "industrialized" approach in planning and forecastingLiaise with other digital/AI initiatives (e.g. commercial, other Novartis units), identifies potential overlaps/ synergies, and co-creates holistic digitalization roadmapWork closely with broader Digital Finance team to define data requirements for next generation AI tools to further improve decision-making and efficienciesIdentify proactively industry benchmarks that trigger/sparkle change initiatives.

Minimum Requirements What you'll bring to the role: 5-8 years of experience in a multinational compa-ny, consulting or advisory in areas relevant to the position.

English Fluent, Spanish preferablyHave a degree in Finance, Economics (or similar), MBA or equivalent preferredKnowledge of finance processes, especially plan-ning and forecasting, performance management, management reportingIdeally country and/or regional experience within the Novartis commercial BPA functionStrong analytical skills (applicable to financial analyses and process, governance & organiza-tional design)Strong project management skills; project man-agement certification (PMP, etc.) is an assetGood communication and stakeholder manage- ment skills applied in complex environments (e.g.

matrix/divisional organizations)Innovative, digital, and agile mindsetPharma industry and digital/data science experi-ence is preferred, but not mandatory.
