Responsibilities

  • Align business objectives with Colleagues across the Group retail function within JD Iberia, consulting with senior key stakeholders on all People related matters
  • Act as a Colleague champion and change agent, anticipating People related needs and developing integrated solutions in line with the overarching People strategy
  • Create strong partnerships across the Group to deliver a valueadded service to all Colleagues
  • Manage and resolve complex People Relations issues, conducting thorough and objective based investigations, communicating outcomes clearly and articulately with the aim of minimising appeals
  • Support and coach Line Managers to effectively manage and resolve employee relations matters through to appropriate conclusions
  • Maintain indepth knowledge of legal requirements related to daytoday management of Colleagues, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partnering with the Legal department as needed/required.
Provide performance management guidance to Line Managers to include coaching, counselling and career development
Work closely with Line Managers and Colleagues to improve work relationships, building morale and increasing productivity and retention

  • Provide guidance and input on restructures, workforce planning and talent mapping
  • Identify training and development needs, supporting through coaching and objective setting
  • Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with senior key stakeholders and the wider People team to develop solutions
  • Able to work autonomously and prioritise accordingly, managing a range of complex People Relations queries
  • Ensure employee relations policies and procedures are fairly and proportionately applied, whilst identifying opportunities for improvement to current practices in conjunction with the wider People team

Requirements:

  • Specific Training in HR.
  • At least 4 years of previous experience in similar HR role in the Retail Industry.
  • Knowledge in HR Analytics, good analytical skills and previous experience in reporting
  • English C1 level
  • Availability to travel.
