We are now looking for a Global Therapy Development Manager (M/F/d) who will be responsible for global clinical support as well as the development of global downstream marketing programs for one or more products/business franchises, focusing on our endovascular solutions and supportive to our vascular and cardiovascular portfolio.


In addition, the Global Therapy Development Manager (M/F/d) will provide technical sales support, product advertising/promotion, pricing and lifecycle management planning.

The future incumbent (M/F/d) will exhibit presence, provide competitive surveillance and multi-channel product/therapy promotion as well as launch planning and execution.

The role can be based at any of our European locations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of downstream strategic and tactical marketing plans to drive rapid sales growth. This role will focus on the global market, supporting strategic downstream therapy development and marketing initiatives along their assigned product lines.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams and the Global sales team to ensure downstream programs and events meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Regular interaction with internal and external customers, by attending conferences/conventions, responding to requests and explaining procedures.
  • Assist in developing and identifying new work processes and the improved utilization of human and material resources as related to the product line.
  • Develop local downstream therapy development and marketing initiatives that maximize sales force effectiveness and overall penetration of product line.
  • Assist in the development and execution of promotional plans, clinical marketing presentations, tradeshow strategy, peertopeer programs, and general sales force support.
  • Monitor costs of projects as well as internal and external indicators by reviewing reports and newsletters, reading organizational literature, meeting with peers and reading departmental reports.
  • Carry out operations within established budgets and timelines.
  • Perform downstream marketing activities, including conducting market research (VOC, focus groups, surveys, hospital visits, etc.) as needed to evaluate new products, therapies, technologies, programs, services.
  • Manage all aspects of product lifecycle management, including leading cross functional teams (including the factories and internal support teams) to manage logistics and planning related to inventory backorders, quality actions, product launches, and discontinuations.
  • Partner with the sales/customer education team to identify and execute against key training initiatives.
  • Identify and implement downstream marketing programs that support the therapy selling initiative and drive crossselling of multiple products within a given area, and with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ of international Marketing/Business experience, ideally gained in the medical device and/or life sciences industry
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a diverse environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively both with regional and global peers in a matrix organization
  • Ability to work independently. Project management skills are considered an asset.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills paired with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Academic degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is considered an asset
