ABOUT GENERATOR BARCELONA
You'll find Generator Barcelona, hotel and hostel, in the buzzing district of Gracia. The hostel's just a short walk from Gaudi's iconic Casa Batllo apartments.

The interiors showcase a mix of styles and include an oversized wooden birdcage, a winding staircase and a mezzanine chill-out lounge.


Feast on local delicacies in our bar and lounge, which is decked out in ornate Hungarian concrete floor tiles and earthy raw metals and woods, and if you're looking for a little more luxury, Generator Barcelona also offers terrace rooms and a penthouse apartment in the hotel with mind-blowing panoramic views of one of Europe's best-looking cities.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

  • Support the Financial Controller in the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and property reports
  • Assist with the day to day operations e.g. credit control, revenue reports
  • Take responsibility for the Accounts receivable function and purchase procedures
  • Efficient processing of accounting transactions
  • Be responsible for the management of electronic employee files along with other HR admin duties
  • Support payroll processing on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate recording of staff hours, holiday leave, sick leave and any other allowances
  • Support the Financial Controller on finance projects as required
  • Naturally this is not intended as an exhaustive list of duties. Other duties as may be reasonably required will form part of this job description._

WHAT'S IN YOUR DNA

  • Have an appropriate level of expertise ideally within the Hospitality industry
  • Have qualifications or extensive experience in Accountancy/Finance
  • Highly experienced in analysis and requirement gathering, ideally having operated in an organisation through business change and transformation
  • Established, with a proven track record of introducing cost saving financial initiatives, new systems and processes
