The Position


The
Associate Director, EUCAN Procurement Operations Lead - reporting to the Executive Director, EUCAN Sourcing & Procurement Lead - is responsible for Procurement Operations of the EUCAN region which includes Central North Europe cluster (Germany, Austria, UK, the Netherlands and Nordics), Eastern Europe & Israel cluster, Mid Europe cluster (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg), Spain-Portugal, Italy and Canada.


Responsibilities
Specifically, this role will include the responsibilities outlined below:

  • The set-up and Leadership of a team of both external and internal resource while ensuring the team delivers on its commitments.
  • The coordination of Sourcing (RFI, RFP & Proposal analysis) and contracting activities
  • The operationalization of Category strategies
  • The management of EUCAN contracts & tools including expiring contracts, contract templates, contract repository, catalogs and guidedbuying
  • The delivery of relevant valuecreation/saving targets
  • The management and improvement of the end to end Source to Settle process within the region
  • The management of supplier onboarding escalations and monitoring of Third Party Duediligence refreshes
  • The coordination and execution of Third Party Spend Analytics, reporting and data cleanup
  • The Engagement and Management of stakeholders
  • The monitoring of Procurement Process Compliance within the region acting as a Sourcing & Contracting Process & Policy champion
  • The Monitoring of EUCAN Procurement performance (including Procurement KPI management)

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 10+ years Procurement working experience
  • Strong marketknowledge across indirect categories and experience working in an international and crossfunctional environment.
  • Strong sourcing, contractnegotiation & Supplier Relationship Management skills
  • Ability to understand a global longterm vision based on a thorough understanding of industry trends and opportunities
  • Team Management skills and experience
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze large complex data sets to derive relevant intelligence in developing sourcing strategies or supporting negotiations
  • Advanced ability to partner, collaborate and impact decisions at all levels within and outside the organization
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think out of the box and find innovative solutions whilst working in an ambiguous, transformational business environment
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Creative, selfstarter and bias for action.
  • English language fluency with additional EU language preferred
