As an Account Manager you will be responsible for a number of important Fine Fragrance accounts for the assigned sales budget set by the Regional Management, with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week.

You will be accountable for driving sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying the customer needs & opportunities, establishing solid customer relationship, leading and coordinating IFF activities and promoting relevant IFF fragrance solutions aligned with corporate strategy.

This position is based in Barcelona, Spain and reports into the Spain sales direction.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external customersPrepare account plan and report relevant market informationAchieve profitable sales growth with the customerEnsure financial targets are met and business performance is constantly monitored and reportedCollaborate with internal departments to explore innovations and new concepts related to customers' products and on-going projectsMonitor market development in terms of competitors, products, and trendsPartner with operation team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of service, quality, and supplyOverall manage the relationships between the different functions from the customer and IFFProvide (on time) all information necessary all matters relating to the service of the accounts

This includes:
Presentations to customerArranging customer visits/workshopsKeeping the customer up to date at all timesResponsible for the project pipeline and the accurate and timely use and maintenance of all information entered the project management systemDevelop account plans for the most important accountsJob RequirementsYou have a Bachelor's degree or a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in Business, Economy, Marketing or ChemistryWe will rely on your at least 5 years' experience in sales, sales service, product development, or marketing in Fragrance Industry, preferably fine fragrance industryOlfactive knowledge and skills in the Fine fragrance segmentYou are fluent in business English, French and SpanishTo be the successful candidate, you need:Ability to deal with basic financial concepts/processesPassion in fragrance with strong interests in product development, consumers, and market understandingStrong negotiation skillsProficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
