- Research Engineer position in embedded systems design for 6G networks
IMDEA Networks is an international research institute located in Madrid, Spain, whose mission is bringing fundamental, cutting-edge contributions to the science of computer networks.
As a growing, English-speaking center that is establishing itself globally at the forefront of the development of future network technologies, IMDEA Networks offers a unique environment for pioneering scientists to develop their ideas across many research areas, under the lead of a multinational team of highly reputed faculty members.
Eligibility:
It is necessary that the applicant have NIF or NIE and a residence/work permit in Spain.
Also, the applicant must not have been employed by IMDEA in the SIX months prior to the start date of the contract.

Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or MSc in computer science, communication engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field with a good academic record.
Skills Required:
- Embedded system design skills, preferably with FPGAbased platforms.
- Programming skills on Matlab / Python.
- Handson with laboratory equipment: oscilloscope, signal generators, power sources.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Funded by the European Union - Next Generation EU and the Ministry of Employment and Social Economy of Spain through the Spanish Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, in the framework of "Programa Investigo" call.
