Accountabilities:
As the SAAS Revenue Recognition Manager, you will act as the interface between finance, commercial and AZ GFS (Global Financial Services of AstraZeneca) for all Saas accounting issues.
- Ensuring Software, Hardware and professional services are properly accounted and recognised in line with Evinova Revenue Recognition Policy.
- Lead monthend close process for a portfolio of studies and services, working with a team of international accountants within GFS. Complete reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules as needed
- Prepare monthly financial statements including trend and variance analysis
- Own the SAAS accounting processes, including streamlining workflow and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
- Increase efficiency and document complex accounting processes with clients, including internal processes and control.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Strong experience in Saas revenue recognition accounting (10 years)
- Experience of accounting &/or controlling activities including: monthend close, reconciliations & variance analysis, financial controls, strong Excel skills
- Experience of working with colleagues inside & outside of finance
- Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills, including oral & written English
- University degree
- Proactive & take the initiative
