Field and Channel Marketing Manager - Iberia & Italy

Scope of Role:


Reporting to the Regional Marketing Leader, the Marketing Manager, in charge of Field and Channel Marketing Manager is accountable for driving engagement & pipeline generation from both direct and thru partner marketing activities for Iberia and Italy.

The role demands.
- a good functional knowledge of marketing, particularly ABM, channel marketing events (Physical and virtual), social media
- a strong capability to build trust & intimacy with the salespeople to be an ambassador and driver of Veritas key initiatives & with partners to implement orchestrated demand plan with our top distributors & partner;
- a good business acumen to understand each country priorities and achieve marketing KPIs as well as rigor to manage budget.
- a great communicator & team player

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities for this role include:

  • Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales.
  • Research, choose, design and manage live & virtual events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive preevent, atevent and post event strategy to increase engagement and response rates.
  • Forecast, measure, analyses, optimize and report on impact of programs.
  • Engage with the direct and indirect sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities.
  • Drive vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including events venues and services, digital marketing agencies.
  • Develop and implement target account strategy to support accountbased selling.
  • Communicate and educate the field sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs.
  • Work with sales and channel to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration.
  • Working alongside the partner account managers, manage Platinum partner, key Alliances to plan, execute and track VPDF budget.

Qualifications/Experience/Essential Requirements:

  • 5+ years' marketing experience in country/region
  • Familiar with B2B direct and channel marketing metrics (funnel conversion, pipeline, ROI, % contribution to the business, etc.)
  • Proven track record in driving strong partner relationship and lead generation programs.
  • Passionate about the technology market
  • Target driven.
  • Detail oriented and skilled at managing to deadlines
  • Strong organization and influencing skills
  • Strong consultative marketing approach in order to effectively engage with sales organization and channel partner community.
  • A strong team player
  • An understanding of accountbased marketing implementation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Fluent Spanish & English or Italian & English
