We're now seeking a dynamic junior lawyer to join our legal team on a 12-month contract, with the potential for a transition into a permanent role.

This new team member will be handling various legal matters, having a particular focus on our content contracting.

Working closely with content teams across our markets, you will contribute to enhancing and streamlining contracting processes in our fast-growing company.

Podimo is growing, and our legal department is too We're looking for a talented junior lawyer to become a valuable addition to our team.

In this role, your primary focus will be on Podimo's contracting of podcast and audiobook content.

Your responsibilities will extend to supporting our local content teams and contributing to the improvement and development of the internal processes, systems, and tools associated with content contracting.

Additionally, you will work closely with the rest of the Legal Team, managing day-to-day operations and actively participate in the execution of operational projects.

Your main responsibilities in this role:

  • Collaborate with and support the other members of the Legal Team in the day-to-day operations, offering assistance on varied legal matters and legal research
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, with a particular emphasis on podcast and audiobook contracts
  • Assist and support our Global and Local Content teams throughout the initiation to closure phases of contracts
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal content approval and signatory processes, ensuring proper documentation and recordkeeping of content contracts
  • Manage and help further develop overviews and guides of our standard contracts and other resources (provide training, creating process documents etc.)
  • Populating/completing model agreements and preparing them for execution
  • Provide support on crossfunctional projects

  • You're comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast moving startup environment; and is enthusiastic about building and bettering processes
  • You're a down to earth, open person with an actionoriented mindset and great communication skills
  • You're detailoriented with strong organisational and timemanagement abilities.
Naturally, being passionate about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus

Experience we're looking for:

  • Law degree
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a law firm or inhouse department is highly valued Familiarity with contract management tools is also a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of general legal principles, particularly in contract law.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable reading, writing and discussing contractual matters in English
  • Demonstrated strong business and service mindset.
You will preferably be based out of one of our offices in
Berlin, Copenhagen
, Madrid or
Amsterdam. This role could also be remote within the CET+/-1 timezone.
