Verra Mobility is a global leader in smart mobility.

Verra Mobility Commercial Services creates smart roadways, serving the world's largest commercial fleets and rental car companies to manage tolling transactions and violations.

Arizona-based Verra Mobility Corp. currently operates in 15 countries and in 22 languages.

We believe there is significant opportunity to further expand into Europe.

We have established our European headquarters in Amsterdam, from which we have launched our tolling and violation management solution business in Europe in 2019.

We further have offices in London, Paris, Madrid, and Budapest, with a workforce of close to 100 people.


Our European tolling business has established relationships with tolling authorities throughout Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Ireland, through which we offer interoperable electronic tolling directly to consumers, through white-label partnerships and to RAC customers, depending on location.


Additionally, our European violations business specializes in the identification, notification, and collection of unpaid traffic, parking and public transport related fees, charges, and penalties issued to foreign registered vehicles or persons on behalf of issuing authorities in more than 17 European countries.

We provide our services in more than 20 languages and more than 10 currencies and to leverage existing connections with approximately 30 vehicle licensing authorities and over 600 toll and ticket-issuing authorities for whom we bill violators in more than 135 countries.


Position Overview
Verra Mobility is seeking a Senior Partnerships Manager, preferably based in Amsterdam or Madrid.

You will collaborate closely with Commercial, Product and Operations Management teams, enabling and strengthening the value proposition of Verra Mobility's violations processing business through strategic partnership and alliances.

The role will include identifying new growth areas for our business via strategic partnerships and building relationships with other key partners including Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agencies across Europe.

Specifically, you will bring new business opportunities that meet our strategic objectives and provide strong business enhancement. The Senior Partnerships Manager will report to the Commercial Director responsible for the violations business.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Define and implement an overall structured process for partnership management and measurable business outcomes
  • Maintain and strengthen existing Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authorities relationships across Europe
  • Manage and intensify existing relations with Debt Collection Service providers across Europe
  • Explore and create new partnerships with Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authorities and Debt Collection Service providers across Europe
  • Mature existing business relationships with other strategic partners driving mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Support the formulation of new partner strategies and business models to grow Verra Mobility's business performance
  • Manage a knowledge base for monitoring and tracking changes to relevant EU directives, Guidelines, and GDPR legislation.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings to insure alignment of goals and performance
  • Partnership dispute and resolution handling
  • Interact with government and public officials on matters requiring coordination between organizations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred in a business or related field
  • A minimum of 5+ years of related commercial and managerial work experience in partnership (or business) management in a relevant sector
  • Proven track record of successful B2B and B2G partnership creation and management at a European level
  • Significant experience with business process outsourcing (BPO) business models is required.
  • Previous experience in the tolling and/or enforcement business is preferred
  • Experience working with Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authorities in Europe is highly desirable

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and French, beneficial to have command over other European languages
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and modelling skills with strong resultsoriented focus
  • Ability to cope with changing and competing priorities effectively and to focus on the most important initiatives
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and timesensitive environment professionally and effectively
  • Willing and able to travel up to 30% annually in Europe
