Your responsibilities as Head of Taxonomy will include:

  • Lead the taxonomy team- currently a team of approx 10 people - mostly based in Argentina
  • Implement continuous improvement systems and find out of the box solutions for complex technical problems
  • Keep abreast of new releases and product functionality to ensure successful implementation for clients (sources for innovation)
  • Set up procedures and working standards to make sure all the projects are delivered on time
  • Coordinate multiple, simultaneous projects, ensuring project expectations/timelines are met, and issues are addressed

Your profile should include the following:

  • +2 years of experience in team management
  • Degree in Mathematics, Science or Technology
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking, you love challenges and finding out of the box solutions
  • Comfortable challenging the current state of things and leading for process improvements and innovation
  • Strong project, time and organizational management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, spoken and written. Other languages are a plus
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Quick thinker, pragmatic, adaptable, innovative problem solver and self-motivated
  • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with SQL and interest in technology
  • Available to travel 2 weeks/ 3 times per year

Ideally you will also have:

  • Experience managing remote teams
