As a Backend Engineer at Embat, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers in a dynamic and agile environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Work with a skilled team to brainstorm and implement innovative financial features.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure APIs and web applications.
- Ensure responsiveness and efficiency of all features through rigorous testing and documentation.
- Implement security measures to protect user data and privacy.
- Contribute to building CI/CD, monitoring, and testing practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
- Embrace opportunities to broaden your skills and expertise.
What we're looking for:
- 4+ years of experience as a Backend or FullStack engineer using Javascript/Typescript.
- Proficiency in software architecture design patterns and coding best practices.
- Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to quality.
- Experience with testing environments and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ambitious mindset with a curiosity for learning.
- Background in Computer Science.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Ideally located in Madrid or elsewhere in Spain.
Experience in technology stack such as React, Redux, NodeJS, Express, and familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices would be a plus.
