What will you do?

We are looking for a Mid / Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. Part of your main responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Accurately elaborate Holaluz financial statements at consolidated levels and for any individual legal entity. Participate in the monthly closing process to elaborate the financial statements.
  • Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help the organization run efficiently.
  • Be part of AP Team.
  • Prepare journal entries as necessary during the month in liaison with Controllers.
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and analyze variances.
  • Bank reconciliations for all legal entities.
  • Be responsible for Inter-company balances and reconciliations.
  • Monitor group interest loans, monthly calculations, and accruals.
  • GL accounts reconciliations.
  • Propose improvements to optimize and automate processes and calculations.
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  • Collaborate with the other finance teams (controlling, treasury and internal audit) to support overall team goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external audits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new products and ERP.
  • Coordination with Accounting, Treasury, B2C, Energy Management, Legal, Solar and Tech teams to ensure the robustness of the data registered in the ERP on a timely basis in order to have a monthly report that properly reflects the real image of the company's activities.
