IS Business Partner - Finance

Bilbao HQ Office

The IS Business Partner Lead is the link between the business and IT, and the strategic interface with the assigned business functions. They conduct business analyses and implement changes to business processes and IT-related solutions.

They will focus on strategic relationship management, expert advice and project management and develop and implement business cases that will strategically impact business processes' roadmap.

This is a role; so, you can expect to be in the office two to three days a week as required and should live within a commuting distance to the office.

In the role of IS Business Partner, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Act as the business relationship link between the business and IT for the assigned business function(s).

Contribute to the strategy definition process of the business and proactively propose appropriate growth projects to pursue an evolving business roadmap.

Manage the IT demand for the assigned business function(s), ensuring that business-added value IT solutions and services are provided.

Define and manage IT roadmaps & plans for the assigned business function(s).

Manage the financials (budget/actuals) within the delegation of authority frame.

Coordinate and manage all projects for the assigned business function(s).

Manage the product organization and the people within them to enable them to achieve and be successful in their assignments.

To be successful in the role of IS Business Partner Lead, you have:

Master's degree or equivalent through experience

At least 8 years of work experience in a specific functional business environment and related IT systems.

Practical understanding of the industrial minerals industry.

Broad breadth and depth knowledge of Sibelco processes, products and markets.

Understand basic finance principles, strong business acumen and high analysis capability.

A self-motivated team player with a proactive approach, analytical and able to work independently.

Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish are a must
