The Surgical Innovations (SI) Division consists of 3 Business Units - Advanced Surgical Technologies (AST), Operating Room Essentials (ORE) and Hernia Care. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Surgical Innovations Division as a Sales Representative looking after our Surgical Innovation Portfolio. If you have a passion for sales and want to join one of the leading MedTech companies in the world then this opportunity will be a good fit.
The working territory is Valencia, Xativa, Gandia and Denia, and you will be preferably located in Valencia.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following:
• Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within the assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals.
• Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
• Promote and establish education on the company's products and/or services.
• Conduct market research, including customers and competitors’ activities.
• Implement market development plans, strategies and changes as needed.
• Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
Must Haves
• Degree in Life-Science, Engineering, or other relevant degree
• At least 2 years selling experience in the medical device industry or High-Tech environment
• At least 2 years’ experience in the Surgical field
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Computer literacy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with high degree of organization-prioritization skill
• Ability to work within a highly motivated team as well as autonomously, with a minimum of supervision
• Strong negotiation skills & ability to close deals with customers
• Full clean driver license and availability to travel
Nice to Haves
• Previous measurable theatre sales experience with surgical products
• Field sales experience or customer service experience in the Medical Devices industry
