Job Description Summary

Partner with business leadership to manage branding, product and/or services promotion, and partner with the business to provide functional expertise. Participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Drive customer communications program success in the areas of marketing communications, digital communications & events management. Execute within a well defined sales/commercial framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result. Work is typically subject to tight oversight. This may be in form of human or systems checking. May be responsible for supporting targeted clients, stable regions, and/or small sales territories.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive targeted digital marketing strategy to generate sales opportunities and ultimately drive revenue through the use of targeted, segmented, and personalized outreach. Leverage promotional activities such as search engine marketing (i.e. paid ads on search engine), retargeting, programmatic, targeted display, and other ad units. Use analytics, a/b testing, and contact management to improve cost per conversion and to nurture leads and influence life cycle marketing campaigns.

  • Developing conceptual knowledge of own discipline. Developing knowledge of own sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.

  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Desired skills

  • A diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Marketing plus a Master ´s degree in Industry (or in process).

  • To be able to provide an agreement with university or studies center.

  • Good knowledge of the different areas of Pharma or Medical Devices.
