Robert Walters is looking for a Global IT Manager for a multinational company in the chemical sector. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team in architecting, designing, deploying, and operating security technologies and processes across endpoints, networks, cloud, and OT environments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for security infrastructure management within our organization.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

Leading and nurturing the Infrastructure Security team.
Defining strategy, roadmaps, and project portfolios.
Keeping abreast of emerging threats and security trends, and adapting our security posture accordingly.
Supervising the day-to-day operation of our security infrastructure management.
Defining and executing the infrastructure security project portfolio.
Managing vendors and service providers.
Ensuring budget management within your area of responsibility.
Staying informed about the latest emerging threats, security technologies, and best practices to enhance company´s security program.
Key Stakeholder Interactions:

Collaborating closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Information Security and Compliance.
Working with technical teams, including Identity and Authorization, Application Owners, Hosting teams, workplace and network teams, and the Security Operations Centre.

Education And Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant course of studies
● 5-10 years of security experience working with standard IT technologies and with a clear
understanding of end to end architecture
● Any relevant certifications within the security field: CISSP, CISA, Cloud Security certifications
from vendors (AWS, GCP, Microsoft)
● Experience with security technical tools: vulnerability scanning, CSPM, SIEM, EDR
● Understand baseline security requirements and platform hardening principles.
● Experience with threat modeling and risk assessments and incident response.
● Leadership experience
Language Skills
● English

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
5-10 years of experience in security, working with standard IT technologies and possessing a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end architecture.
Possession of relevant certifications within the security field such as CISSP, CISA, or Cloud Security certifications from vendors like AWS, GCP, or Microsoft.
Proficiency with security technical tools including vulnerability scanning, CSPM, SIEM, and EDR.
Familiarity with baseline security requirements and platform hardening principles.
Experience in threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response.
Previous leadership experience.
Language Skills:

Proficiency in English.
