Solution Architect

Our client LGT Private Banking is launching the LGT Incubator and Accelerator, a dedicated HUB in Barcelona. We are working in close collaboration with them in order to build a talented team to develop sustainable software. Its goal is to design state-of-the-art digital products and services that enhance the customer experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person willing to work as a Solution Architect and interested to be part of the LGT&GFT team, aswell as thinking to relocate to Barcelona. Are you interested in joining a multicultural team and leading a challenging project?

Some of the technologies we are working with: Java 8+, React, Azure, Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Spring boot, Kafka...

  
Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Solution design and technology stack selection.
• Solution development and technical team supervision.
• Analyze and document the enterprise and technology environment.
• Software architecture design and guidance.
• Enterprise architecture and integration patterns.
• Data architecture, API design and implementation.

 
 Skills will help you to succeed: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineer or related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in one or multiple IT areas.
• Software development expertise.
• DevOps. CI/CD. Lean mindset.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a distributed team environment and set own work direction to achieve team goals.
• Solid understanding of methods/practices of systems integration and data management.
• Good understanding of the banking industry.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• At least B2 level of English, written and spoken.

 Tech skills: 

• Strong Architectural Design: Proficiency in designing robust and scalable architectures, considering factors like system integration, performance, security, and maintainability.

• Broad Technology Knowledge: Deep understanding of a wide range of technologies, including programming languages, frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, and networking protocols.

• Solution Integration: Skill in integrating diverse systems and technologies to create a cohesive and efficient solution, including designing and implementing integration patterns, APIs, and data flows.

• Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms, mainly Microsoft Azure, and understanding of cloud architecture principles, services, and best practices.

• Enterprise Architecture: Understanding of designing solutions that align with an organization's overall enterprise architecture, considering scalability, security, compliance, and governance.

• Technical Leadership: Capability to provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, including strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Security and Compliance: Knowledge of security principles, best practices, and compliance requirements, including designing solutions with robust security measures.

• Performance Optimization: Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies, including knowledge of caching mechanisms, load balancing, and performance profiling.

• DevOps and Automation: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.

• Business Acumen: Understanding of business needs, objectives, and processes, and the ability to align technical solutions accordingly.

 Soft skills: 

• Understanding of link between technical specialities and customer requirements.
• Understanding of industry best practices and standards.
• Fluent communication skills.
• Keep abreast of market trends in technology.
