We are currently recruiting a Head of Madrid office for our Spanish entity, which is in the process of establishment
Multinational market leading outsourced corporate services provider. The team has been selected from a diverse background, focusing on financial, investment and legal professionals with a client services track record. With such a wealth of international experience, the company is able to deliver a bespoke suite of corporate, treasury and administrative services to the clients.

¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?

The successful candidate will be responsible to lead and manage the creation on office in Spain and to build and develop the local team, while also developing the business through their network under the lead of head of the company business development team and co-heads of real estate department.

The successful candidate will be leading the development of the office by offering individually tailored solutions to clients, including consolidation, accounting and reporting services, corporate secretary and compliance services management, controllership services, business continuity support...

Set up the local office (finding a location, providers, etc)Develop growth strategies and plans, by researching and identifying business opportunities under the lead of head of the company business development team and co-heads of real estate departmentManage and retaining relationships with existing clientsFollowing industry trends locally and internationallyCoordinate and follow up client meetings and deliverablesPrepare/review financial statements, management reports, budgets and cash flow projectionResponsible for the transaction process during acquisitions /disposals done by our clientsEnsure compliance with client reporting requirementsWork with auditors to ensure smooth audit processWork with corporate tax advisors and lawyers for the local compliance processRecruit, coach and guide junior staff relative to their position and review their work

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

Expected 12-15 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or auditPrevious experience in Big4 or an international financial service provider is a definitive plusExperience with international Real Estate / Private Equity structures Good knowledge of IFRS and Spanish GAAPExcellent oral and written communication skills in English and SpanishYou have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy establishing and maintaining business relationships Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure, keep within tight deadlines and multi-taskStrong motivation to work in a quickly growing, dynamic and challenging environment
