We provide flexible, fully furnished accommodations through a network of sustainable & community-driven shared homes.

We currently own and manage over 2.500 bedrooms spread across 9 markets in Europe and the US.

In order to support our growth, we are looking for a profile to feed the future of Cohabs in Madrid transversely across multiple functions and departments.


What would you do

We are looking for a City Manager to execute our company’s vision and develop the local market. A City Manager oversees the growth tasks that allow a city to operate. Working closely with various HQ departments and city officials, City Managers manage policies, create and manage its local team, adapt our business model locally and maintain the city budget. You will help:


● Coordinate the strategy and execution of the growth amongst diverse areas: urbanistic regulations, Cohabs product standards, fiscality of operations, impact on tenant’s lease contracts, and more.

● Source, acquire and finance real estate assets for coliving operations

● Shaping & executing the company’s overall business strategy in your city

● Construct forecasts and analytical models

● Manage the local team: recruit, train and ensure day to day operations

● Promote the company’s culture and values and ensure they are shared by all team members

● Manage and monitor budget (revenue and expenses) and report it to the group

● Perform market research and due diligence to assure risk management in Madrid


What we are looking for


● Excellent communication skills in written and oral English and Spanish (Fluent)

● Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with unexpected and pressing situations

● Ambition to lead a team and take responsibility for it

● Proven experience in residential real estate transactions in Madrid

● Strong network of real estate brokers in Madrid

● Deep knowledge of urbanism and permitting processes in Madrid

● Capacity to draw basic plans that fit residential regulations in Madrid 

● Ability of interpret and challenge financial parameters

● Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities

● Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

● Organizational and leadership skills
