Robotics Sales Engineer

You will be accountable for sales of Collaborative Robots (COBOTs) within Spain, driving sales volumes and margins.

In this role you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.

This position is not graded yet as the country still hasn't gone through the phase 4 of Global Grading process.

Your responsibilities

- Accountable for total Cobot sales in the country (units/orders/GM)- Open new channels, develop and directly selling to distributors, Cobot experts, OEM equipment and OEM machine builders.- Support and grow Cobot know-how within the new channels, also with joint visits and sales application coaching.- Manage, set target, and evaluate performance of distributors and Cobot experts.- Engage and support ABB Front End Sales colleagues to promote and sell Cobots into existing and new customers (mainly System Integrators and End Users).- Be available -on demand- to help ABB Front End Sales colleagues in Cobot presentations/proposal/discussions.- Work with Ecosystem partners locally to promote partnerships/ develop joint sales initiatives/ link to their distribution channels.- Manage channel conflict where necessary.- Propose and support marketing campaigns (digital/physical) for Cobots in the country working both with local and global marketing.- Manage Cobot leads, distribute them to maximize conversion in close cooperation with ABB Front End Sales colleagues, own leads follow-up.- Monitor and record Cobot pipeline in CRM (SFDC).- Manage price consistency across channels and Business Lines for Cobots.- Understand and know local collaborative robots’ market, mapping local players and stakeholders.- Be the ambassador for Cobot sales development in events/fair/ open houses and with local media as Cobot spokesperson.- Contact point in the country for Cobot product line.

Your background

- Proven Sales track record.- Spanish speaker with very fluent English.- Sound knowledge in robotic sales or industrial equipment distribution.- A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
