SEK Catalunya needs to incorporate a  PYP Native Speaker Teacher for 2024-2025 academic year.

MISSION:

Empowering students to become proficient communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners through the exploration of inquiry-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and global mindedness.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and implement teaching plans for the transdisciplinary and disciplinary units.
  • Attend department meetings and participate in collaborative planning sessions.
  • Take part in standardizing assessment tasks.
  • Contribute to curriculum research and improvement.
  • Stay updated on the PYP scope and sequence.
  • Communicate with parents the students’ progress.
  • Attend to school activities such as festivals and Open Days.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Primary teacher.
  • Teaching experience, preferably in the PYP.
  • Native speaker or native speaker level. 
    • Speaking Spanish and/or Catalan will be valued.
  • Microsoft Office user.
  • Experience with other educational platforms to enhance classroom dynamics and promote such tools with the team will be appreciated.
