We are looking for a Carrier Sourcing Specialist to join our team

As an integral part of the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) team, the Carrier Sourcing Specialist drives carrier compliance initiatives on Relay for a specific geographical market. RSP team works with Supply Chain, Finance, Compliance teams and externally with service providers, offering business and logistics expertise to ensure optimal delivery of service solutions. The successful candidate will successfully drive ongoing projects for onboarding compliance and draw path for new projects in collaboration with required stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
•Maintain high operational standard with new/existing carriers on process compliance, safety and performance
•Continuous Improvement Management with carriers, development of SOPs
•Be innovative and support new features/ideas development wit tech teams on Relay platform to improve carrier experience or process improvement
•Support market research to source new carriers where the existing carrier pool is insufficient/poor performing
•Project support ensuring Amazon requirements are communicated & executed by Line Haul carriers
•Work across the EU in a cross-functional environment.

To be successful in this role, you need a passion for making data driven decisions which will have direct impact on customer experience. Some keys to your success are the ability to be an effective communicator to various audiences. The ability to remain flexible and adapt to learning new tools and systems is instrumental in your role on the team. Our environment is deadline driven, fast paced, and requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable interacting and working with multiple teams (business and technical).

A day in the life
Being a Supply Chain Manager for Amazon involves lots of problem solving. You’ll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and when situations impact our network. You’ll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. This role is both proactive and reactive, and you’ll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects.

The Team's main objective is to take Entrepreneurs with little or no Transport experience and turn them into the most compliant HGV operators in the overall Transport Network

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in supply chain
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- German Language Proficiency (B2 or higher)
