Purpose of the position
− The postdoctoral candidate will join the DeustoMED research team, which is predominantly comprised of medical educators and researchers. The team’s research focus is encapsulated in the theme "Patient-Centered and Sustainable Care," encompassing projects in basic laboratory research, digital health, and educational innovation in medicine, all centered around the person and climate sustainability. The postdoctoral researcher will serve as an active contributor to the research initiatives developed within the team, applying their expertise in methodology and statistical analysis to research proposals, design and implementation processes, data analysis, and the dissemination and transfer of findings.

Objectives of the position
− Collaborate in research proposals within the medicine department, and also in collaboration with other departments and disciplines.
− Publishing in high impact journals (WoS and SJR) along with group members
− Working in competitive projects (Basque Government, Spanish Government, Horizon Europe…)
− Submitting competitive research proposals.
− Engage in knowledge transfer and promote social impact through participation in conferences and scientific workshops.
− Supervise doctoral theses and undergraduate final projects in the Medicine program.

We offer
− Duration. The contract will be for 3 years.
− Amount and terms of paymen t. An allocation of 32,985.15 to 42,000 gross euros per year will be granted, distributed into 15 monthly installments, depending on the candidate’s experience.
− Terms. The contract with the University of Deusto will fall under the associate researcher/investigador/a asociado/a category.
Requisitos
Qualifications required
− PhD degree in Mathematics or Health Sciences (such as Biology, Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Veterinary Science, Nutrition), or related fields.
− Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field with significant experience in health data analysis and research study design.
− At least 5 scientific publications either as author or coauthor.
Other valuable aspects
− PhD completed from 2019 onwards.
− Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, particularly in the healthcare sector.
