PLM Manager

In this role, you will drive the PLM business process for Europe to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will provide technical and functional leadership in the design, development and deployment of potential changes/improvements to business processes and tools used by both engineering and business teams. Understand the business needs of engineering and business teams as the industry transforms, and you can support new developments and adjustments to the Lear process.

Responsibilities:

Lead/participate in projects and/or initiatives to evaluate, implement and support new or improved features of our current PLM and more generally our business processes Proactively identify areas for improvement in our business processes and lead the development of appropriate solutions Provide expertise and leadership in identifying and quantifying the impact on the business and existing work processes and ensure full support of all business functions Coordinate and manage the implementation of new business process tools in collaboration with the direct reporting manager Ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner Responsible for obtaining feedback to ensure satisfactory messages and solutions from the sales team Support ongoing activities with the IT team to ensure issues are addressed and resolved Training sales team in PLM and new software applications Ongoing support for production issues with PLM and other business applications

Requirements:

Technical degree Clear understanding of general automotive ECN/RFQ process methodology and PLM Engineering release system Knowledge of the PLM system with regard to possibilities, limitations, advantages and disadvantages Ability to communicate with senior managers Communication and team skills that enable the individual to understand the requirements of business teams Excellent leadership skills to ensure working relationships with all areas of the company Familiar with change process and business tools and systems Understanding the data model for PLM and business systems Effective communicator, customer focused, team player, results oriented, self motivated and driven to improve Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
