What you’ll do.

Supply Chain Operations and Projects:

Support Procure-to-Pay process for goods and services

Identify cost reductions and mitigate risksSupport vendor setup and contract closeout processesBasic contract negotiations with stakeholder engagementSupport Contract Lifecycle ManagementSupport material expeditingInvestigating receiving/invoicing discrepancies

Materials Management/Warehouse:

Create and maintain Request for Quotes for MRP replenishment items.

Support Contract Lifecycle ManagementP-Card process management and reconciliationExpediting purchasesInvestigating receiving/invoicing discrepanciesMaterial analysis and data enhancement for Master Data supportComplete warehouse analysis and reporting on an ad hoc basis.

Who you are.

Available to begin work in September 2024Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided.As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is required.Previous experience is considered an asset.Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices.Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education 

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, or Business AdministrationPreference will be given to students in 3rd or 4th yearAvailability for multiple work terms is preferredStrong academic performanceAbility to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semesterAttached copies of transcripts

Working Conditions

May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc. 

Safety Sensitive

This is a safety sensitive role and as such you will also be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours. Furthermore, you will also be required to pass the Cenovus pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirements.Safety sensitive positions require the operation of a motor vehicle. A valid US Driver’s License with no restrictions is a requirement for this role.
