Bingel is the adaptive all-round platform for primary education where teachers and pupils are central. Bingel assists the teacher in achieving his or her main goal: getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its different modules support the teacher not only by offering the best quality teaching materials, but also by offering a range of time-saving solutions on planning, preparing, coaching and assessing. Pupils in Belgium, Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands love Bingel as their gamified learning platform for every-day use. Their personal avatar joins them while they’re learning and adapted practicing, with which they earn virtual money that can be used for buying avatar accessories or games.

We're looking for candidates based in Cataluña or Barcelona area, as we're working in a hybrid way of work, 1 day a week from the office.
Responsibilities
Bingel TMS is an application that helps teachers in Bingel with their day-to-day tasks. It allows them (e.g.) to manage their teaching methods, create their weekly planning, zoom in on a pupil's specific care needs and compile reports to give to pupils. As a Test Automation Engineer you will help us develop Bingel TMS and drive consensus on quality guidelines and requirements, ensure the team produces is in line with these, by creating visibility through mostly automated testing of defects against the guidelines and requirements, work with complex and varying assignments with accountability for end results. You'll guide and support more junior colleagues working closely with the QA team in terms of code standards and best practices for automation testing. There might be some (max. 20%) manual testing as well.
Requirements
You are familiar with:
- Setting up an automated regression test set
- automation using JavaScript/TypeScript + Cypress
- experience creating test framework in Cypress from scratch
- Browserstack, Maven, Postman, DevTools, SQL
- IntelliJ
- Test Rail (test case management tool) or similar
- Good git knowledge and ideally some insights in Bitbucket pipelines or similar
- Experience working in an Agile development team
- Business proficiency level of English (C1)
