The ArcelorMittal Europe Tubular Products team is looking for an Environmental Engineer (M/F).

The position can be based in any of the following countries (Spain, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Romania).
  As Environmental Engineer, your main responsibilities & missions will be:
  • Collect, monitor, analyze and report environmental data related to our industrial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, national, and international environmental regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact.
  • Participate in environmental audits and assessments, both internal and external, to evaluate environmental performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and community groups, on environmental matters.
  • Utilize environmental monitoring and data collection technologies, software, and tools to streamline data collection and analysis processes.
     
Skills & Background required:
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years+ experience in similar roles.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English, proficiency in any other European language would be an asset.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools, including software for environmental monitoring.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional multinational teams.
  • Experience in conducting environmental audits and assessments is a plus.
