Job Description

Sportradar MPS is creating an amazing opportunity for highly driven and passionate Application Support candidates who are customer service oriented to provide outstanding technical, operational and business support through all support channels made available to our clients worldwide. You will be a key part of the team by analysing, resolving, and if required, escalating challenges to the different levels of engineering within the organization.

THE ROLE:

How Will Success Be Evaluated?

  • Quality, accuracy and speed on communications of incidents.
  • Management of incident owned to resolution.
  • Quality and accuracy on deployments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance to customers.
  • Monitoring systems and following fault resolution procedures. 
  • Responsible for communicating problems and resolutions.
  • Write and update documentation and procedures.
  • Diagnose system errors and other issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a system or application support or equivalent role. 
  • Fluent English speaker with good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT service desk tooling and best practices. 
  • Basic sysadmin skills, with a basic understanding of Windows Server (2003-2019) and Linux Server
  • SQL Language understanding and experience. 
  • Log analysis understanding. 
  • Networking basic knowledge and diagnostic skills. 
  • Monitoring system experience. 
  • Basic software code knowledge. 
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions. 
  • Ability to provide remote support.
  • Teamwork attitude and ability to quickly learn about new systems. 
  • Persistent, will not leave work undone. 
  • Ability to work in a quick pace environment.
  • Honest, loyal and committed to the objectives of the team and the organisation.
