Role
We are looking for an experienced handson professional specialised in Health and Safety and Risk Prevention in Spain Reporting to the Workplace Manager you will be the goto person for every TravelPerker with any Health and Safety related issue Are you a hungry but humble collaborative trustworthy innovative and ethical professional whos not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump into the thick of the action? What will you be doing?
Build our own Health amp; Safety inhouse department from scratch Manage the Health amp; Safety of both remote and onsite workers Shape implement and manage our Health amp; Safety strategy and coordinate with the applicable Hamp;S external provider when needed to make sure the company is fully compliant medical checks campaign and morenbsp; Help us take care of the emotional wellbeing of employees and psychological wellbeing by doing your research across the different departments monitoring trends and proposing specific actions Build a policy and guidelines inventory that fosters our communitys wellbeing worklife balance and right to digital disconnection Coordinate or deliver training and raise Health amp; Safety awareness campaigns for community membersnbsp; Helping the business adapt the workplace and work conditions for people with special needs due to disability illness or other specific conditions or circumstances Proactively propose new measures to improve our Health amp; Safety standardsWhat will you need to succeed?
Possess strong knowledge and experience in an Hamp;S role in Spain Ideally have an indepth understanding of essentialrelevant EU Hamp;S legislationPossess A Tecnico Superior PRL or any other relevant certificatenbsp;Be an excellent communicator in both English and SpanishBe selfmotivated and able to lead a team effectivelyUsed to operating and engaging across all levels of the organisationPossess a track record of driving significant change through an operationExperience working within a fast pace everchanging environment Be detailoriented with strong written and oral communication skillsYoure resilient cheerful optimistic and enthusiastic And a sense of humour to go with it Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skillsHave outstanding organisational and time management skills; can adhere to tight deadlines multitask maintain confidentiality and adhere to company standards of ethicsnbsp;Tech savviness You dont need to be an engineer but curious by nature you enjoy technology and new tools and if you dont know how to do something you find your wayYoure an owner You are highly reliable in your delivery and communication and can work independently with limited supervisionBe flexible to adaptable When necessary you can selfeducate on complex topics in a matter of daysOur Benefits
