Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Compliance Specialist to join our Conduct Compliance & Ethics Team of Compliance ING Spain .

The responsibility of this team is to manage risks arising from Unfair Customer Treatment, Conflicts of Interest, Market Conduct, Anti-Competition, Organisational Conduct, Whistleblowing and to help ING manage risks arising from our norms, attitudes and behaviors related to risk awareness, risk-taking and risk management.

Conduct Compliance & Ethics (CC&E) team shares a collective responsibility for all the end to end compliance 31 processes as described in the SOLAR project in place to identify, manage, report and escalate the Compliance risks under your remit. The team will share responsibility to identify, manage, report and escalate local risks for your risk areas. At the same time, the team will contribute to the shape of global policies and be responsible for drafting and implementing local guidelines and standards where additional local requirements do exist.

Conduct Compliance & Ethics (CC&E) team keeps track/oversight of the local implementation of all policy-driven requirements by means of issue tracking, monitoring, Risk Dashboards, and other risk specific reporting (regulatory and internal reporting) to internal stakeholders including Corporate Compliance. The team has ongoing interaction with its correspondent team located at Business Line Compliance. The team will participate in the global CC&E community. The team provides an opportunity to manage relationships with external stakeholders, regulators and supervisory institutions.

You will hierarchically report into the local Lead Conduct Compliance & Ethics.

Your key responsibilities:

As a CC&E Compliance Specialist:

You have a clear view on how the compliance function supports ING in being an integrity-led bank; being compliant with applicable laws and regulations and doing the right things the right way; You execute activities aimed at mitigating the Compliance risks under your remit; You execute (global) complex investigations. You perform:advisory activities (both client (segment)/deal related and in relation to underlying processes),training, awareness & communication, andCompliance oversight including monitoring & reporting on CC&E related risks;Punctual support to FCC area (on demand) You are a content matter expert, and decision maker responsible for proposing solutions to be implemented. You are accountable for roll-out, execution, uniformity and follow-ups of the risk-specific Risk Assessments You support the Compliance QA team to execute the KCTs and challenge the 1st line KCTs, acting as a Subject Matter Expert where needed. You identify, execute, monitor and report on local culture initiatives.

You have an experienced profile with a minimum 3-6 years in Compliance with expertise in Wholesale Banking business banking segment. You have a strong track record of advisory with regards to integrity-related matters. You have analytical skills and sound judgement. You have a ‘can do’ mentality and are able to embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment. You have a university degree. You have an excellent level of English and Spanish (verbal/written). You have a curious and an innovative mindset. You have excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across functional and geographic lines. You are firm when needed and able to show flexibility when possible

La responsabilidad de este equipo es gestionar los riesgos derivados del trato injusto al cliente, los conflictos de intereses, la conducta de mercado, la anticompetencia, la conducta organizativa y la denuncia de irregularidades y ayudar a ING a gestionar los riesgos derivados de nuestras normas, actitudes y comportamientos relacionados con la concienciación y la gestión de riesgos.

El equipo de Cumplimiento y Ética de Conducta (CC&E) comparte una responsabilidad colectiva para todos los procesos de cumplimiento de extremo a extremo, tal y como se describe en el proyecto SOLAR, para identificar, gestionar, informar y escalar los riesgos de cumplimiento bajo su responsabilidad. El equipo compartirá la responsabilidad de identificar, gestionar, informar y escalar los riesgos locales para sus áreas de riesgo. Al mismo tiempo, el equipo contribuirá a la formulación de políticas globales y será responsable de redactar e implementar directrices y normas locales cuando existan requisitos locales adicionales.

El equipo de Cumplimiento y Ética (CC&E) realiza un seguimiento y supervisión de la implementación local de todos los requisitos basados en políticas mediante el seguimiento de problemas, el monitoreo, los paneles de riesgo y otros informes específicos de riesgo (informes regulatorios e internos) a las partes interesadas internas, incluido el cumplimiento corporativo. El equipo tiene una interacción continua con su equipo corresponsal ubicado en Business Line Compliance. El equipo participará en la comunidad global de CC&E. El equipo ofrece la oportunidad de gestionar las relaciones con las partes interesadas externas, los reguladores y las instituciones de supervisión.

Como especialista en cumplimiento de CC&E:

Tiene una visión clara de cómo la función de cumplimiento ayuda a ING a ser un banco liderado por la integridad; cumplir con las leyes y regulaciones aplicables y hacer las cosas correctas de la manera correcta; Ejecuta actividades destinadas a mitigar los riesgos de cumplimiento bajo su responsabilidad; Ejecuta investigaciones complejas (globales). Realizas:actividades de asesoramiento (tanto relacionadas con el cliente (segmento)/negocio como en relación con los procesos subyacentes),formación, concienciación y comunicación, ySupervisión del cumplimiento, incluido el monitoreo y la presentación de informes sobre los riesgos relacionados con CC&E;Soporte puntual al área FCC (bajo demanda) Eres un experto en materia de contenido y un tomador de decisiones responsable de proponer soluciones a implementar. Usted es responsable de la implementación, la ejecución, la uniformidad y el seguimiento de las evaluaciones de riesgos específicas de los riesgos Apoyas al equipo de control de calidad de cumplimiento para ejecutar los KCT y desafiar los KCT de 1.ª línea, actuando como experto en la materia cuando sea necesario. Identificas, ejecutas, supervisas e informas sobre las iniciativas culturales locales.

Tiene un perfil experimentado con un mínimo de 3 a 6 años en Compliance con experiencia en el segmento de banca comercial de Banca Mayorista. Tiene un sólido historial de asesoramiento en lo que respecta a asuntos relacionados con la integridad. Tienes capacidad analítica y buen juicio. Tienes una mentalidad de "sí se puede" y eres capaz de aceptar los desafíos en un entorno complejo y que cambia rápidamente. Tienes un título universitario. Tienes un excelente nivel de inglés y español (verbal/escrito). Tienes una mentalidad curiosa e innovadora. Tiene excelentes habilidades de colaboración y capacidad para trabajar a través de líneas funcionales y geográficas. Eres firme cuando es necesario y capaz de mostrar flexibilidad cuando es posible
