Role Overview:

Support CAD users of Engineering IT systems on multiple sites. Key expert user for Engineering CAD systems and Integration with PDM. Interact with downstream functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and others) to support business solutions in the context of the PLM system. 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop CAD WOW in line with Engineering requirements Monitor, test, plan and execute roll-out of CAD Software updates and upgrades  Escalate issues that cannot be resolved by 1st and 2nd-level support Configuration, installation and maintenance of Engineering Software according to the GKN Automotive guidelines  Work with the Data Center IT function to ensure CAD-related systems in the PDM context work properly Act as the communication channel between site(s) and global PLM experts Support CAD Data Exchange with customers and suppliers Liaise with other function on CAD-related topics

To be successful in this position, you will have:

Expert knowledge of Creo Parametric Thorough knowledge of other CAD software (CATIA, Autocad)  Good understanding of Windchill PDM and related CAD data management Good Microsoft Office skills Education: Master's Degree or Equivalent Level. Preferred: local language and English language skills.
