Is responsible for complying with applicable safety and environmental rules.

Is responsible for providing a solution, in a timely manner, to any problem occurring in a mold that affects product quality. 
Is responsible for validating the validity of their work licenses (LOTO System).
Apply safety rules with immediate reaction in case of detecting a dangerous situation.
Responsible for filling out the safety SEMAFORO's and checklist before using the equipment.
Responsible for ensuring that all tooling complies with safety features for handling and use (eyebolts, mold locks, DME locks, springs, water, oil and air hydraulic connections, electrical system in good condition).
Responsible for participating in multidisciplinary team problem solving, as well as following QR (Quick response) protocol, and its consequent stages (Assignments, FTA's, 5 why, LLC's).
Is responsible for performing TPM and performing detailed inspection of the mold for detection of potential non-conforming conditions and resolving them.
Has the authority to alert and mention the urgency of any discrepancies related to lack of critical spare parts and tooling.
Has the authority to report any disrespect to the product or mold during handling.
Is responsible for following up and executing the preventive maintenance plan, as well as filling out the maintenance work order, making notes of relevance during the maintenance.
Responsible for following up on ERIM activities, close actions that are generated through the methodology, to generate a positive indicator.
Responsible for participating in mold modifications such as: engineering changes, major repairs, implementing improvements, correcting out of tolerance dimensions, repairing mold wear and spare parts manufacturing.
Responsible for carrying out the discipline of the 5 S's, maintaining day to day application.
Responsible for following the Valeo system by following the San Gen Shugi philosophy and the 5 Axes.
Responsible for participating in the evaluation of new and/or transfer molds.
Is responsible for the correct use of the mold shop equipment and tools, perform the necessary maintenance to ensure their reliability during their use.
Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the mold environment by eradicating possible water and/or oil leaks.
Responsible for promoting effective communication within the work team, making mention of all relevant points that happened during the day.
